304 stainless steel coil is corrosion and oxidation resistant, so it can withstand moderate exposures. It can withstand extremely high temperatures because its melting point ranges from 2,550° F to 2,650° F. 304 is also prized for its high tensile strength of approximately 621 MPa (90 ksi).
